How to Build an Alumni Football Team

Main Goals:

To field a competitive football team, consisting of high school alumni players (> 18 years old), to play a sanctioned, full-pads game to 

1) raise money for CHARITY
2) give players the CHANCE to play in a real football game
3) entertain the fans with a CHALLENGING contest
4) build the local football COMMUNITY
5) condition players to minimize injuries
6) pleasant experience for all

Major Steps:

1) Create an official Organization
2) Elect Officers
3) Connect with High School
4) Select Coaches
5) Recruit Players
6) Recruit Volunteers
7) Hold Team Meetings
8) Meet with opponent leaders
9) Conduct Practices
10) Raise Money
11) Play Game
12) Post Game Activity
13) Do Follow-Up


RULES:

Player must be a graduate of the team's high school.

Unlimited number of practices allowed.

Licensed officials to enforce current high school rules.
