Olean and Portville are gearing up for official practices. Rumor has it that Jimmy Lee, Steve Estes, and that big
Spears kid are a go for Olean. We also hear that Chris Gagliardo and Jess McFall may play for Portville. Still
wondering if Chris DeHart, Jeremy Fie, and Matt Miller are on board with this big game. We also think Jesse Turner is
in town.

Coaches and players have been asking if Josh Austin and Mike Buchanan are playing in the game, and Harley says they are.
The Panthers have 35 dudes who say they will be at the practices. They are hoping to solidify enough linemen to match
up with the big boys from Olean. Expectations are high for the Millers and Holcombs.

Portville has 35 men committed to playing in the game against Olean in Bradner Stadium, June 14th. Some of the
greatest Panther players over the past 20 years will be contributing alot to the heavy hitting.
Olean is assembling a formidable home force. Turf knowledge will be a key factor.
Unfortunately, the June 7th alumni game between Salamanca and Allegany-Limestone has been cancelled.

Portville is up to 40 players for the alumni squad, so they are aiming for at least 22 to show up for any given practice.
Olean is quietly preparing to gather up some superstars, especially from the past 10 years or so. Both teams hope that
the local media takes notice of this epic battle on the horizon.

I got my first chance to check out the Panther alumni practice. Good to see the Holcomb boys there. We need
'em big time. The Haynesinator has been showing up...even after laying block all day. I don't where the Miller
men are yet, but I'm sure they'll be there. I hear Gags will be home from the front lines to play line.
Out.
